2014 elections ... punching the bear

I am having trouble working up the interest to vote this year. I was in the first group of 18 year olds to be able to vote when the law changed back in 1972 and have voted in almost every election since. A friend turned me on to this quote and I had to share.

"I vote for the same reason I would punch a bear that was eating me; I don't think it will make a big difference to the outcome but at least that way it doesn't look like I want to be eaten by a bear."
