right here, right now

If we focus on the big picture (on anything) it is easy to become overwhelmed.
It's the old story about how to eat an elephant … one bite at a time, right? For me that is all about focusing only on what you have to do right now, just this very moment. Don't clutter your mind looking down that 'long road' … just focus on this little piece of the road you are on at the moment … right now.

Francis of Assisi said it this way, "Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible."

And whatever you do, do not look in the rear view mirror! Leave yesterdays missteps (and successes) in the dust. "Let each day start anew"

I find that meditation really helps to keep me focused on the moment … you might want to try it. HERE is an easy way to start.
