as a semi-vegetarian wanna-be health nut, I find it important to get as much bang for my buck out of what I put down the gullet. I really do try to ask myself 'what do I get out of eating this?' for everything I do eat. One of the key things I consider is the foods nutrient density. HERE's a better explanation than I could offer.
So do yourself a favor and choose foods that pack a ton of good stuff. (and yes ... I really do eat Kale)
It helps when some one can professionally handle kale... mmm!
